Carrier Limits of liability
  1. The carrier company undertakes to exert the usual care to transport passengers and their luggage on the travel dates designated in their ticket. The company shall not be responsible for any delay or cancellation of departure time if it was due to a reason that is out of the company procedure or control or force majeure.
  2. The Egyptian commercial Maritime Law no.8 for year 1990 is the law governing company's liabilities and compensations of passenger or luggage during voyage , also in accordance to valid international conventions which Egypt have ratified , any disputes over the carriage contract or its execution is settled in accordance to the above mentioned law and the competent courts are only the Egyptian courts.
  3. The maximum compensation that the carrier may be asked for in the event of permanent total disability / death is in accordance with the Egyptian law and international treaties in force ion Egypt, and not exceeding the amount of 65 thousand dollars per passenger.
Important Instructions
  1. This ticket is personal and cannot be waived to others, and in case of changing any data the ticket will be considered void , the passenger in such cases in not entitled to claim any compensation.
  2. The return ticket holder must adhere to the return date specified in the ticket or the expiration date of the ticket in the event of an open return.
  3. Adult ticket from the age of 12 years and above, child ticket for less than 12 years.
  4. Each passenger is allowed 80 Kg of free luggage, any excess is liable to charges even if carried on passenger's car.
  5. It is only allowed to board with the personal belongings (travel documents, necessary treatments,….), all passengers bags and luggage will be placed in the luggage carts .
  6. Passenger must review all instructions, data and information printed on the ticket.
  7. Passengers should occur in the port 6 h before departure.
  8. Passengers are obliged to comply with the reservation system and grouping system outside the port and passenger's assembly inside the port and ensure the availability of all documents and their validity before travel .
  9. The carrier is not responsible for returning passengers with authorities refuse their entrance and passengers will bear the full cost of their return / departure.
  10. It is prohibited to carry any medication , narcotics or any items of any kind that is prohibited by authorities.
Other Instruction
  1. It is not allowed to board the ferry with food , snacks and light beverages can be purchased from ferry Cafeteria with suitable prices.
  2. Any payment whether onboard the ferry or outside must be against a receipt.
  3. The ticket validity ends with the expiry of the specified date for travel, except in the event of cancellation or delay of the voyage by carrier decision or competent authorities.
Dangerous materials prohibited to be transported:
For safety purposes, the passenger is prohibited from carrying the following dangerous materials, whether in his luggage or in his car, which are:
  1. Compressed gases: (highly cooled, flammable, non-flammable and toxic) such as:
  2. biotin, oxygen, liquid nitrogen, propene and underwater breathing cylinders.,
  3. Corrosive substances such as: acids, alkalis and liquid cell batteries.,
  4. Disease-causing agents (bacteria, germs, etc.).
  5. Explosives and weapons: ammunition, flares and flares, pistol primers, shooting pistols, fireworks and explosives from spent cartridges.
  6. Solid and flammable materials: such as fuel for lighters or heaters, match boxes, paints, paint extension fluids, lighters that are easy to ignite.
  7. Radioactive materials
  8. Oxidizing materials: such as bleaching powder and peroxide
  9. Toxic substances: such as arsenic, cyanide, pesticides, and plant spray materials
  10. Other dangerous materials: such as mercury, magnetic materials, and annoying and irritating materials.
  11. Any devices or equipment containing mercury that are not permitted to be carried in bags or luggage.
- Medical and decorative items may be carried in limited quantities that may be necessary or appropriate during flight
- A quantity for safety purposes cannot contain tin cans inside cars to entertain 15 tins.
